Getting Started
Dogs must be at least 3 months old to be in our facility. Puppies must be on a vaccination schedule with your veterinarian and potty training must be in progress at home.
Call during our regular office hours to set up a screening interview and behavior testing with owner, Sherri Ruston. Sherri will show you around the facility, spend time getting to know you and your dog and help you determine if our facility is appropriate for your dog. All dog owners are expected to work closely with Sherri and her staff to ease the process for their dog. Cage-free boarding may not be for every dog, and we will let you know if it seems to not be working out for your dog
Just print and fill out the registration form and bring it with you to the office.
Please bring the following items to your first meeting with Sherri in order to prove that your dog is healthy and free of disease.
- Proof that your dog is on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative.
- Proof of vaccinations from a veterinarian: parvo virus, distemper, DHLPP, corona virus, bordetella, and rabbies.
- Proof of a clear (negative) stool exam.
- Dogs that are 7 months or older; proof of being spayed or neutered
- Dogs from out of state must have a “Certificate for Interstate or International Movement of Small Animals”
- Dogs must always have appropriate tags and non-retractable leashes.
If you have not done so, you will need to fill out the registration form during this meeting. Please be prepared to provide us with an emergency contact who can be contacted 24 hours a day and can reach our facility within 30 minutes. This is especially important if you are out of town while your dog stays with us. We will also need to know the name, address and phone of your veterinarian.
